No after I learned of their passing I contacted the park owner who never mentioned he was in the process of filing a warehouse lien for rent due and selling it to himself for significantly less than its value. Now he has filed to have the title in his name how can if get the mobile home back
I'm sorry to hear about your situation. In California, the law surrounding mobile homes and warehouse liens can be complex. Here are a few points that might be relevant:
- The landlord should have notified all interested parties before the lien sale.
- If you were not properly notified, you may have grounds to contest the sale.
- You may need to consult with a real estate attorney to discuss your options.
ok so a real estate attorney would be the best or probate?
A real estate attorney would be best since this issue involves property rights and warehouse liens, which are areas of specialty for real estate attorneys.
