Foreclosure Notice Timing Rules

Summary

In California, a Notice of Sale must be mailed at least 20 days before a foreclosure sale. The law does not require you to receive it within that period. If you have concerns about the timing and validity of the foreclosure, it is advisable to consult a local attorney for personalized legal advice.

my home in California is being auctioned and a foreclosure sale. They did post the notice on my door in the time required. I’m not sure if they did it in the newspaper I do have do not have access to it. However, I didn’t receive the mailing within the 20 day requirement. It came one day late. Can that affect the sale and foreclosure?
