Selling Inherited Ohio Property

Summary

In Ohio, if co-owners of an inherited property disagree on selling, you can seek a partition action in court. If granted, the court can order the property to be sold, and the proceeds will be divided among the co-owners. Consult a local real estate attorney for specific advice.

I have a real estate issue. A house was left to me and my brother in his will by my grandfather. We are sole beficiaries. I want to sell the house but he is not willing. We can't afford the taxes on the house which are behind already. There is no mortgage on the house. I know we will end up loosing the house as some point for unpaid taxes. Is there anything legal I can do to be able to sell the house to get out of this house?
