I'm sorry to hear about your daughter, Joel. Can you please share what happened after the initial diagnosis? Did her condition worsen or persist due to the misdiagnosis?
On */* she was admitted to the emergency hospital again but now for abdominal pain and vomiting bile. We were concerned about the bile cause its odd but the dr tested urine and blood and said it was probably food posining and sent us home with a doctors note. On */* my daughter went to her primary care as recommended and a Murphys test was done and found positive. The dr said she has possibly appendicitis or another organ issue and told us to go straight to the hospital for imagine. She was admitted to the hospital and the drs said probably constipation. He did a Murphys test and said negative. He later asked for imaging and also asked for a ultrasound. During the ultrasound we advised her pain was top abdominal but they said they are only asked to scan bottom. The dr then called after seeing images and said to scan upper. She the was admitted for emergency surgery, for gaul stones the surgery was preform 4 days later and it was found severe cholecystitis with high drops. Her gullbladder was then removed. Medicaid did try denying paying but later sent a letter for thier mistake and payed
