My landlord tried to sell her house it was pending then the deal fell through. Now she's asking for rent. There are many problems with the house that I alone am fixing a lot of them caused by water damage from a sketchy roofing crew that she hired to do isn't there a law that I can withhold rent until she does the repairs..and if not what would be my options if I pay her and then someone buys the house quickly then it would make it difficult financially to be able to move

Is there a probono lawyer that may do this and if I just don't pay her how long legally would we have to leave this house to move..btw there is no lease which would say an agreed time and I believe that would give me the maximum time under the state law
