My daughter is a drug addict and cannot care for her children, ages * & *. She was court ordered to do treatment in the last few years but after being sober for 10 months she has relapsed big time. I have had the DOPA paper for 3 years now giving my parental authority to make decisions for her kids. The father has no legal rights. The boys live with us. Should we seek legal guardianship?
