I have been in the middle of a divorce for 16 months now. Since filing, he has gotten charged with Domestic Assault in the 2nd degree for assaulting me while I was pregnant and had our 4 year old in my arms. I got a restraining order after this. Then he got a charge for Felony Harassment for calling my place of employment to get me fired as well as calling head office, and the State of Missouri to get me fired by filing false reports. I extended my restraining order for another year. We have been battling over everything because I am a single mother of * barely making minimum wage and he makes * figures a year and I havent seen a dime from him in 16 months. He has gotten this case continued so many times because all of his lawyers have quit him on all his cases. His lawyer just put in a request for withdraw from all his cases and so did my Legal Aid attorney. His attorney said there was a "complete breakdown of communication" making it impossible for her and him to communicate to continue working on this case. My lawyer is leaving because I have asked her to do a couple changes to our parenting plan to submit and I was told that "you are recieving free services that would cost $*,* private pay, be grateful". I have reported her to OCDC in Missouri over all of this. The judge takes up all the motions for Withdraw tomorrow and I know my ex is going to ask for a continuance. I am going to request that it not be continued again. The only thing left to dispute for the divorce is Marital Property and Assests. We both have submitted those forms. He has sold all of our marital property since we filed for divorce. I dont know what to do about this at court due to not having record of it. He only put new stuff obtained since our legal decree of seperation on his forms. Not our actual Marital Property. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
