I am afraid that I may have to represent myself in a court case tomorrow since my financial situation has been very uncertain. I have secured a Public defender. However there are some sketchy things happening. I just wanted to know if something awful happens and I am stuck representing myself, could I file a continuance myself and how would I respectfully ask the judge for that?
