okay so my 15 year old brother at the time got accused of rape by my 15 year old step sister at the time. There was NO dna evidence to support this awful story she claimed; she was heavily on her period and no blood evidence on him at all. The county that handle the case refused to take him or his clothes for dna evidence when asked; when he was “questioned” they basically just made up their minds that he did it. My brother has an IQ of * and has documented learning disabilities. Not only that in the night of question my moms boyfriend (the father of the girl) had given the 15 year olds * double shots of the Kraken(a very strong alcohol) right before the trial my brothers lawyers scared him into to thinking that he was going to loose the case and then be in jdc until he was 21 years old and told him he should confess so he did to something he didn’t do. And I was wondering if there is something I can do to fix this.
I'm sorry to hear about your brother's situation, ****. It sounds like a very complex case. To provide the most relevant advice, I need to know where this case was handled. Could you tell me in which country and state this occurred?
Medina county; Ohio
I'm sorry to hear about your brother's situation, ****. In Ohio, there are several legal options available:
- File an appeal: This can challenge the court's decision.
- Post-Conviction Relief Petition: If there's new evidence or a constitutional violation.
- Consult a lawyer: They can guide you better based on the case specifics.
Remember, time is critical in legal issues.
Okay thank you very much.
