my vehicle was impounded after a traffic stop where I was suspected of driving under the influence. I refused the breath test, and a warrant was never obtained to drop blood on myself. After spending six days in the county jail, I was released because ill charges were dismissed due to lack of circumstantial evidence. it is January * and my vehicle has been in impound since November *. I could not afford to pay the impound charges. Yesterday I found out that my vehicle has been deemed scrap by the towing/impound company. How can they impound my vehicle? Keep it impounded and strap it after charges have been dismissed? This is the state of Minnesota county of Anoka.
