Consumer Rights Legal Advice

I have a friend that was scammed
I'm sorry to hear about your friend's situation, ****. Could you please provide more details about the scam? It would help me provide the best possible advice.
He was sold a soft water system under false information. He called to have it taken out but they told him he had 3 days to do so. It's been longer than that and people are telling him he was scammed. Now he's paying Aqua Finance $* a month and * per cent fee. He doesn't have that kind of money. He was told his water had * more times arsenic in it and that wasn't true and if he didn't purchase the water softner is was going up $*,* the next day. He was lied to. His water is fine. I contacted his water company. He did no need that system at all.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend's situation. In Florida, deceptive trade practices are prohibited under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA). Here is what your friend can do:
*. File a complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
*. Consult with a consumer rights attorney. They might be able to help him get out of the contract and possibly recover damages.
*. Report the scam to the Federal Trade Commission.
Note that this is not legal advice, but general guidance. It's best to consult with a legal professional.
Thank you for the information
You're welcome, ****. If your friend needs further assistance finding a consumer rights attorney or more information about the process, don't hesitate to ask. Remember, legal professionals can provide the most accurate advice for his situation.
