istory PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER READING YOUR LAWCASE I believe That If the credit reporting and credit cards, had not profiled me and Had explained what happens when your limit is dropped and the Balance from the old card is added to the new card,,I was over the The debt to ratio which I never knew about…I was given no help No information,, I would not had to lose my life saving, lose my home’ Been public embarrassed, been yelled at, been called a lie, been to the’ER’ Twice, I am mad and hurt at the same time, This could have been prevented, 10 years of complete sadness. We Have to have information, I believe I read that they are suppose to’ Inform you that you could just have the name removed , and etc.’’ I want justice, I have been a victim long enough For over * yrs, we had a great credit score of around * and high limit credit cards, $*,*,$*,*,. Etc We bought a second home in Summerfield Fl using the Money from our home in Milford Ma, This home was paid o , and Jim wanted to do 6 months in FL and then 6 months in Ma. I retired from Lowe's Home Improvement after 12 years as a Sales Specialist in Home Decor. I went to Florida to get the Home ready. Jim worked for State Street Bank as a Computer Security Manager. When my husband came down the first time it was for * weeks , with our Daughter, Son in law, and Grandson. Everyone left and Jim was going to return in * weeks. He was going to work from Florida. One week after they left, I got really sick, I had a bad cold, that my Grandson had given me..well that is what I thought, I did have a cold but they also found out I had stage * Lung Cancer ( no we didn't smoke).. If I didn't get tha t cold, they would never have found cancer until It is too late . I went back to Milford for Surgery. Chemo and Radiation, I wasn't given good odds..Jim decided to retire right away to take care of me,, I talked him into, putting everything in his name, so that if something happened to me that part would be done, He didn't want to do it, but he also didn't want me to be stressed and since we were going to move if I did to make it we were going to have to make new wills. On the day that Jim was supposed to hand in all his Security stu , because he had already signed his retirement paperwork * weeks before.. Instead of going to work, we ended up going to the hospital, they admitted him, which was a surprise because he had just seen his doctor. Jim had told his quack of a doctor that he was getting headaches he told “Jim worrying about your wife is causing headaches. It's the stress I will give you something for the stress and It will help with the heada che.’ * weeks later Jim died, and he had Brain Cancer. I wanted that Doctor to pay for not listening to what Jim was saying. So while I was recovering from surgery and everything else, I hired a lawyer because I think that Jim's Doctor was the reason why my My husband died. I didn't like this Dr. I couldn't prove it, o ce notes on his visits disappeared then the a lawyer who was a family friend who looked at me as his personal paycheck,, I paid to see all the Hospital and Doctors records which at this point had so many missing and a lot of repeat notes for other visits… The law Firm didn't want to go any further because I was never at any of Jim's appointment, I never heard the doctors say anything to Jim and the missing paperwork were too hard to prove. They did say I could pay $* an hour to have a Doctor go over the paperwork,,, but this had already cost me a lot of money,, I had to drop the whole thing,,,. This was the beginning of my Hell. I thought when you retired they would give you a watch, not cancer.? I called credit card companies, and Equifax, and Experience telling Them that Jim had died, and what I suppose to do..There was no Information given, they all had the same thing to say, “stop using The main card, we will be sending you a new card” I asked if that’ All I have to do,,they said yes, I was a authorized user, I didnt open Open any of these cards,, I did get the new cards, but they didn't tell me that they had lowered my limit, showing no payment history but adding on the Balance from the account . Why would they do this? They had no idea how much money I had. I had ] enough money to cover the credit cards they started here to profile me. So immediately my credit score went do wn to *, and I was over the *% I never even heard of the rule of *% . ( this is another one of the credits reporting sneaky things that they had done,) You are Brainwashed into thinking it was our job to correct their report. This is where they are selling false information without my permission, not f ixing mistakes, not acknowledging their errors in a timely manner, causing their misinformation to spiral out of control. You will see as you read on that if this had been fixed in the beginning, I wouldn't have had 10 years of hardship. The extra money that I spent, because of a low credit score, would have been enough for me to a ord to stay in my home. I had no idea so many things were based on a credit score. It is wrong and unfair that they caused the problem and the only one Who paid was me , We are being told about checking our credit scores, but they never tell us not to go over *% of your Credit card, , , I am telling only a hand full of people know about it,, Ask people in your o ce and see, I know I read in the * CFPB said, that they don't that this is legal and they question but, no one did anything about it. When was the last time you heard anything about the *%? It would a ect your credit score so badly. and believe me, you would have heard of it when Husbands would be telling their wives not to spend a lot of money on credit cards because it brings down our credit score. Do you realize the public outcry that would cause fights between couples? So the company that sells your identity, makes up rules, to cause you to have low credit scores, and gets away with more stu , making them so necessary to companies. They increased their profit level while decreasing your Credibility. The fact that the credit reporting agency stresses accuracy it Should be noted that they can have * di erent scores if their information Was accurate they would all have the same information,,, no doubt it about money,,, They have become too powerful, I did call Equifax and Transunion, about my score going down and everything else, they were less than helpful full and I was not Healthy enough to fight them,, You would think that I would have at least one good person, to help me handle things. Nope, I am the one that helps everyone so as one person said, It's a good thing that you are Strong to handle all of this strong I am falling apart and this gives people a way out of helping, no I won't ask them. I had an accountant that was highly recommended, but I did it again turned out to be a total mess, one of the worst accountants I have ever experienced. I'm getting to think it's me, I believe people are good and honest until I find out they're not. Remember, I told Jim to take everything out of my name,, well his 401K was in his name only, so on his death bed the lawyer had him ok the transfer of money from the 401k to an IRA, I never felt so awful. This can't be happening I can't lose the one person in my life who is my everything. I'm supposed to die, not him. No one told me anything about taking money out of the IRA,, and all the repercussions it would cause. The Lawyer even borrowed money from me, and never paid it back. I had to buy the car to be able to put it in my name. I had to pay for everything from the IRA, I paid on the second Mortgage for 3 years,,, I had an accountant who did the taxes for the first year, all the money was put in an IRA when my first tax bill came, I also had to pay penalties for Ma tax. He forgot to get an extension and was hit with a penalty because I was living in Florida, he forgot to do Ma tax. Jim died in August and he said he needed Extra time. I asked him what I should do, He said, “you have the Money just pay them”,, I did pay, money was going fast At this time there was no way, I could fight the credit agency so I just continue to pay my credit card..and never went back to the credit report The next year my IRS bill was $*,*,I didn't have it because I was paying o credit card balances for * I sent discover $*,* and others trying to get them paid up. Remember the balances of the joint account were transferred to my New Credit card, but after all this research I found out that it was illegal for them to add it to my account, as I was not the originator of the credit the card even though I was able to purchase them. So again not knowing the law, not knowing my rights, these companies do what they want, and if they're doing it to me how many more are they hurting? They knew what they were doing and they knew it was illegal and yet they still did it over 8 years ago. It gets better I went to a bankruptcy lawyer, and now that I had balances on my credit cards, which I was paying and keeping up with, and now this tax bill I didn't know what to do. This lawyer told me to stop paying on my credit cards because we could do bankruptcy and include the IRS bill. I paid him $*,* for this advice. I stopped paying on my credit cards and he did a thing called a charge-o on four accounts. I should have paid more attention to what he was saying, I was just overwhelmed. I was paying for each credit card, the * big Cards which I owed money to them, I had paid them thousands of dollars, by taking the money out of the IRA.. I had only $*,* left. I used the cards for everything, buying t he car , moving. House repairs, etc. , and then paid them from the IRA account, Discover that I had a balance of $*,* Capital One which was\ $*,* and Bank of America which was *,* and another Bank of America which was their error for $*. This one was on my credit overdraft report from a long time ago. We never noticed it. I never went into the credit report and I think my husband just checked the score and it was high, so we never looked at anything In * when Jim died I went to the bank and they told me there was an overdraft of $*, I said ‘fine here's the money they said “we can't take it because; it was put on by Bay Bank and we bought Bay Bank; they put that on your credit report, we have no place to, we don't know what to do, we can't accept the money “ I said ‘take it o the credit report’ and they said,” they couldn't do that” they called around and no one knew what to do with the money. I called Equiflex and they refused to do anything . so it stayed on the credit report and with late charges it increased to $*. so this was included in the charger is o too.. Do you see a pattern here? I didn't know what I was doing, so I relied on the professionals to get the right help. The lawyer told me to wait and see what happens.I was never contacted by the three companies that I owed but I did get * on them. I never f iled l for bankruptcy. but the four charges went on my credit report for 7 years. Note I read in the cfpb that having a charger o on a credit report is wrong because a charger is actually considered income. I received a * which means that it was income and income is not supposed to be reported on your credit report. Is this correct, Having them on my credit report caused a hardship, The fact that I owed the IRS $*.* was weighing on my mind and I didn't trust anybody else, so I called the IRS and told them what happened they looked into my finances and said, that the accountant should never have paid them the amount all at once, it should have been paid in payments and then they put me in the non-collectible status where I still remain. I don't know what to do I don't have money to o er but 10 years is the limitation date,, I'm being The lucky person I am my tax bill after 8 years is $*,*. The stress is A ecting my health big time,,, When I took out money to pay IRS from my IRA, this was added back to my Income,, That is why it was so high,,,, they said the accountants should never have had me pay it all from the IRS. So now I am living on just s,o,s when after doing my tax, Medicare tell me that I have too much money so they increased my Medicia payment to the max,, F0r Health insurance I was paying Blue cross $* Medicine $* Fl blue $* $ * a month out of $*. Which didn't leave much money paid for everything from that account, but I did it and I thought I would have no big tax bill, the next year my bill was $*,*. I had to keep Blue Cross because I had to have MIR I called the IRS and found out that the accountant should have known that it would be considered Income and I would be taxed, f ired the accountant At this point, I fired the first lawyer. I fired the accountant. The second a lawyer told me to stop paying my four credit cards and wait to file for bankruptcy so I did. I tried to survive on the money that I was getting which wasn't much after I paid my health bills the only other resource I had was a reverse mortgage, so I did a reverse mortgage which was a big mistake but it helped pay for my home insurance, my taxes, on the house repairs whatever I got a total of *,* I had no idea how the tax thing worked all I know it was helping me out. After 3 years I could go back to Social Security and I would see from my tax return that I didn't have the money I had for my social security ($2100 month, now with the increase that everybody got I'm up to $*. But still trying to dig me out of all the crap that I have gone through) well along comes covid now my cards are all maxed out but paid every month my reverse mortgage money is gone this is about a *-year span . It is harder for me to maintain my home. I have to hire everybody to do anything for me. Yes, I'm a proud person I B ecause of Covid I lost so many friends because of this virus and I'm getting very lonely. my daughter asked me to come to live with her she needs she could use the rent money I thought it was a good idea, but now I thought I heard that the IRS was going to put a lien on my property because I was in non-collectible status, so I put my house up for sale and it killed me. I love that house but it needed a new roof and air conditioning. I was going so I had to reduce the price to $*.* for my house. when I sold it in * hours. there was no lien on it I ended up getting out of the sale of the house for $*,*. I was shocked at what the reverse mortgage people got back for it for a The *-year loan was such a big mistake, but at the time what choice did I have any? There was no lien on the property. I wasn't doing my taxes every year because I had nothing to report. I sold this house. I had to do taxes and found out from the IRS they forgot to put a lien on the property. but I am still in non-collectible status. so I moved here to Arizona in * in December * My next bright idea was to get a loan, to pay o my credit cards, $* the cards were close to being max due to Covid. ( I knew nothing about the *% ) . Although my cards had high amounts, my payment history was very good, I had old Credit cards that were *, and *, years old. These cards were mine, not joined Account. Besides paying o my credit cards I had to come up with the money for my ] sister's funeral. My other sisters and I agree that we would pay $*,* each because she had nothing. I didn't think it would be a problem getting a loan because my payments are up to date and I have not looked at this credit report for 5 years. it was just such a stressful time I didn't want to go back to it. I was surprised when I got denied by the Lending Tree that was Monday on and Tuesday I get an email with the lending Tree letterhead it was like the first one except it said,I was approved, called, and found out they were Scammers and so my next 1o months of dealing with scammers, I learned some interesting things which I will share with you later in this email). I tried again and got rejected again. Now I went 'to look at my credit report,, My credit report is wrong, I mean *% wrong tried to get it fixed, Name, address, accounts, dates,, and closed accounts all e ective credit score. I send letters, but my daughter forgot to send certified waited *, days nothing changed, so I called Equifax, and told the agent I wanted to To dispute a charge-o I figured I'd just start with one problem.. Remember the charge o Discover was gone and Bank of America got * on them, the last one was Capital One, but now it was sold to a lawyer, the date and amount were changed and given to them more time…I said so in the dispute. I called Equifax and spoke to a girl named Jennifer asking her to remove the things on my credit report that were wrong. that I did not authorize, everything from wrong addresses counts dates everything she said she would that was 2 months ago. I will send you information on the companies. Thank you, Theresa (Terry) Cosato NOTE Here are the CFPB rules that I think apply to my case US C * * the Fair Credit Reporting Act US C * * (a) the exclusion section of the FCR US C * * (i) Identity Theft US C * * Notification of verification Independent Investigation I disputed a charge off, it came back one word verified US C * *(n ) civil liability for negligent non-compliance US C * * (o ) liability for negligent compliance US C * * debt collection practices I am sure you know what applies I hope you can see that if this mess was fixed in the beginning, with the credit card company ( I understand about not having a joint account and maybe going down a little with the limit. the rest of the things, no history, lowering the limit, and adding the balance from the joint account, which was illegal, I was over *%. The fact that once one credit card company did that everyone jumped on. I know credit cards have the right to do this, but for the fact that 42 years of perfect history, never late, perfect, my husband die and they started, profiling me ,,, I can't think of any other reason, other than Age, being a Woman, I had money (wish I had it now) ... Is this another thing that is not addressed until someone speaks up, You all know that there are rules, but why are they just for people like me? Going through the most painful time in my life. Then to have companies have caused these things, Elderly abuse, ' Financial Hardship, as well as both Physical and Mental problems. These are supposed to be my Golden years, not my rusty years,,,
